Our Story

Farming was a seed planted in our heart many years ago and the opportunity for us to start our own farm presented itself in 2021. Our passion is to not only feed our family natural, whole foods but supply our community with organic, farm fresh foods and handmade products. Our farm grew tremendously in the first three years and we have been able to give back not just locally, but globally. We have partnered with Venture to support farming and agriculture projects in Southeast Asia that empower women, create sustainable income for families and decrease the risk of children being sold into slavery. We are grateful for this wild and free-range life we are living and passionate about Farming for Good. Take a look around and get to know us and our farm. We are glad you are here.

ABOUT OUR FARM

We aim to farm with integrity and with honest reverence for our land and animals. We purchased a commercially farmed property and spent the first three years remediating the soil to be organic and rich with nutrients. We use organic, regenerative methods to bring your family wholesome foods packed with nutrients. We are selective about the animals and plants we raise here on the farm.

We believe that the most nutrient dense meat to offer your family comes from heritage breeds, not commercial breeds. Heritage breeds are traditional livestock breeds that were raised by our forefathers. These are the breeds of a bygone era, before industrial agriculture became a mainstream practice. Traditional, historic breeds retain essential attributes for survival and self-sufficiency – fertility, foraging ability, longevity, maternal instincts, ability to mate naturally, and resistance to diseases and parasites.

Our pasture-raised pork products come from Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs, a renowned heritage breed that produces beautifully marbled deep pink or red meat that is packed with a smooth flavor and various nutrients. Our beef cows are Dexters, an imported heritage breed from Ireland. This beef is naturally more tender and contains more Omega 3 fatty acids. They are grass fed and grass finished. We have numerous free-range chickens, turkeys and ducks all of which are heritage breeds as well.

We care about what goes into our animals and therefore our bodies. We use regenerative farming methods to increase the value of our land and provide optimal grazing pastures for our animals. Rotating our animals through pasture allows them to live in a natural environment and decreases the need for vaccines, antibiotics and additional medications that conventional farmers often use. We feed our animals natural, non-GMO feed that is locally grown and roasted. You can trust that what you consume from our farm is packed full of the good stuff God gave us and none of the bad stuff.
