Comfrey Salve

Referred to as “bone knit” centuries ago, comfrey has the ability to work deep within tissues and heal at the cellular level. Comfrey leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy. Comfrey ointments have been used to heal bruises as well as pulled muscles and ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, and osteoarthritis. Lavender essential oil has been known to act as a pain reliever, anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant. Bergamot has been known to improve immune function, promote wound healing and reduce inflammation.
